Nora Elena Restrepo Yarce
Design
Nora is an exceptionally creative graphic designer with nearly twenty years of experience in editorial design, illustration, coporate identity, advertising, social media, marketing, packaging design, typography and infography. She has technical skills to burn, plus the ability to work quickly under high pressure, great ability to work on Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Nora was the Head of Editorial Design for a leading Latin American publication and director of the redesign of a national newspaper before travelling to New Zealand to live permanently in 2016. She is a confident design leader, but also a dazzling and warm addition to any design team.
Under her design, the Waiheke Weekender has won ‘Best Magazine’ at New Zealand industry awards twice in a row – in 2023 and 2024.
Nora is a fashion and design maven, and loves editorial design, music, illustration, and her cats.
